Arif made a GD at the Dakshin Khan Police Station in Dhaka after being threatened by his own security. GD number is 1. Earlier, the journalist had made the GD at Gulshan Police Station in January this year. GD number 1.

Journalist Arif and his family are suffering from extreme insecurity after the GD has not been able to provide security to him. Leaders of various journalist organizations have strongly condemned the incident.
